RCE Hyogo-Kobe

RCE Hyogo-Kobe was established with the aim of promoting ESD in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. Its office is located at Kobe University and consists of members from higher education organizations, NPOs, civic groups, companies and schools. We launched the “ESD Study Tour Program” project in 2017. This project aims to promote ESD by allowing citizens to participate in community-based activities related to sustainability, such as environmental issues, welfare, human rights, disaster prevention, and community development, while touring around the area as if on a tour. Furthermore, the ESD Practice Research Conference, gathering practitioners and participants, has been held regularly since 2016.
