RCE Sejong

The vision of sustainable development education for Sejong RCE is ‘Sejong Sustainable Development Education Together with Learning & Doing’. Sejong Sustainable Development Education is the direction of future education that the educational community of Sejong Special Self-Governing City will achieve together. The educational community that will carry out learning and practice together includes all community members in organic networks including individuals, as well as people surrounding students, society, culture, environment, and the Earth. The Sejong Sustainable Development Education community respects individual characteristics and aims for students to grow as proactive learners, enhancing their individuality and responding to future changes with transformative capabilities based on their own characteristics, thereby living as happy democratic citizens. To realize the vision of Sejong RCE, strategies will be established reflecting the achievements and roadmaps of DESD, GAP, and ESD for 2030, applying ESD considering local, regional, and national characteristics. In addition, sustainable future education for Sejong will be prepared based on individual transformation, innovation of social structures, and technological advancement.
