Description of RCE and Geographic Region:
RCE Vojvodina represents a unique and innovative organizational network based on a four-fold model of cooperation between the public, civic, business and academic sectors. This model aims to help citizens, business leaders, public organizations and academic institutions, in building a more sustainable society by increasing its capacities for successful implementation of sustainability actions and contemporary concepts.
RCE Vojvodina is hosted by the University Business Academy in Novi Sad and it is strongly supported by more than 30 partners from different sectors: science, business, government, education, media, environment and civic society, out of which the UN Global Compact Network and the Chamber of Commerce of Green of Serbia are the major opinion makers on sustainability subjects in the region.
RCE Vojvodina’s mission focuses on improving research, science, as well as industrial and education models of development in Vojvodina in ways that are more sustainable and environmentally friendly. The major goal is to provide the settings needed to encourage local sustainable development in the region and in the country. In ition, RCE Vojvodina projects aim at giving the region the tools needed to implement a framework for a university-government-economy-civil society partnerships model in sustainable development.

Vision:
To build a more sustainable society by raising capacities for successful implementation of sustainability measures and modern concepts.
Goals and objectives:
The main goal is to help the region of Vojvodina to enhance the level of research and education for sustainable development. In ition, the project aims at giving the region of Vojvodina tools for the sustainable regional development in the framework of university-government-economy partnerships.
